600 Complaints related to election violations: CaFFE

CaFFE announced 600 complaints received related to the presidential election.

Among these complaints 53 are violence while 542 are violation of election law. Common opposition candidates offices at Kundasale and Dheraniyagala areas were attacked and complaints were lodged this regard. Meanwhile people attended the opposition candidate’s meeting was also attacked in the Hambantota area. CaFFE also received complaint on attack carried out against the opposition leader Ranil Wickramasinghe’s election conversing meeting at Ampara.
