Family members of disappeared persons to meet Pope Francis

Family members of disappeared persons in Vavuniya visited to Mandhu to request Pope Francis to impose pressures on Lankan government to conduct search on their beloved ones.

In many occasions family members of disappeared persons requested the Lankan government, United Nation, International Organization and former president hold investigations on loved ones and yet failed to receive favorable response this regard. Pope Francis will arrive in Madhu at 2.30 pm tomorrow by special helicopter and will hoist special holy mass. Pope Francis will spend one hour at the Madhu shrine.
