Ranil Wickremesinghe is going to be the Prime Minister of the New Cabinet

It has been expected that the present opposition party leader Ranil Wickremesinghe is going to become the Prime Minister of the New Cabinet.

According to the sources from the Political circles of the Opposition Party, the United National Party President and the Opposition Party Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe would be taking his oath of office as the Prime Minister of Srilanka either by today or by tomorrow. The Common Presidential Candidate Maithripala Sirisena will be sworn in as the President of Srilanka this evening. It has also been expected that the moment the new President takes over his office, an all party Cabinet will be setup and the present Cabinet expected to be dissolved. It has been also expected that most probably either today or tomorrow the Ministers also would be taking their oath of office. It is also been expected that the Defense Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa will be submitting his resignation and in his place a new Defense Secretary will be appointed.
