Voting for the 7th presidential election began

The Most Awaited Seventh Presidential Election Commenced this morning at 7:00 a.m. today.

People started Voted briskly early in the morning. The Voting will continue till this evening 4:00 p.m. today. Totally 19 Candidates are Competing with each other for the Presidential Election as the Presidential Candidates. 15044490 Voters are eligible to Vote. The presidential election has been conducted in 22 districts and in 12314 Polling Booths the Voting has been taking place in Srilanka. Tonight at 10:00 p.m. with regard to the results of the Postal Voting would be announced. Early in the morning people started voting briskly and with much enthusiastically. In the western province at 7:00 a.m. the voting has commenced. Especially at Gampaha district of the western province the moment polling booths are opened people in long queues started voting briskly with full of enthusiasm.
