Delegation of No Confidence Motion Against John Amaratunga

A Delegation of No Confidence Motion against the law and order Public Security Minister John Amaratunga is going to be submitted it to the Parliamentary Secretary today.

In this no confidence motion 114 opposition members of the parliament are going to sign and submit it to the parliamentary secretary. Under these circumstances, it has been expected that with regard to the debate of this no confidence motion, the date of discussion will be announced in the parliament. The prime reason for this no confidence motion is at the Wattala municipal council, the minister’s supporters attacked the municipal council members violently and this is the main cause for this no confidence motion raised by the opposition party members.
