Military personals never committed war crime allegations - Karuna

United People's Freedom Alliance parliamentarian Vinayagamoorthi Muralidharan alias Karuna stated that LTTE has committed war crimes by killing 600 police personals surrendered to them without any weapons.

Speaking at political programme aired in the state media parliamentarian went on to say, Using chemical weapons against Iraq and Kurdish community considered as war crime allegations. SriLankan military personals never committed war crimes during the final perhaps of war in this island. During the final perhaps of war LTTE owned many civilians as hostages in their gun point and also we cannot consider it as movement fight for their freedom. Military personals took measures to rescue all hostages under the LTTE gun point and never committed war crimes. LTTE shot dead 600 police personals surrendered to them on 11th June 1990 in East and he is not responsible for this killing, Karuna said.
