Mother says military personals taken away my injured daughter

During the final perhaps of war at Mulliwaikal –Mullaitivu I saw that military personals taken away my injured daughter, after that I’m unable to collect further information on my daughter, mother named Vivekanandhan Jeyalingeswari said. She is resident of Mulliyawalai- Mullaitivu.

She made this statement while participating in the protest organised by the family members of disappeared persons in the Mullaitivu town yesterday. Mother further added, My daughter went on missing on 27th March 2009 at Mathalan area. 10th of May 2009 we all visited the military control area and saw my injured daughter. She was taken away by the military personals. My daughter V.Thanoja, she called me, but I was unable to get close to her, after that day I’m unable to collect information on my daughter. I viewed photograph of my daughter in the election conversing poster of President Maithripala Sirisena. I pledge and request relevant officials to rescue my daughter.
