Modi asks SriLanka to work beyond 13th amendment

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi requested to grant solution to Lankan Tamils in the united SriLanka.
Indian Prime Minister met Lankan president Maithripala Sirisena, Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe at the presidential secretariat today and end of the meeting Modi release a joint statement.
Modi called upon to completely implement the 13 constitutional amendment and work beyond it to grant solution to Tamil people.
Modi also stated India will support turn up Trincomalee as regional energy hub.

An agreement on currency swap to the tune of US$1.5 million was also announced by the leaders of both nations.

Indian Prime Minister’s visit to SriLanka was a great blessing to my government and people of SriLanka, President Maithripala Sirisena said.
President made this statement while addressing the special event organised at the presidential secretariat this morning.
SriLanka and India maintains close relationship through Buddhist and Hindu religions.
Close ties between two nations would lead to achieve development in economic and cultural industries.
