Political prisoners were tortured by Anuradhapura prison officials

Political prisoners detained at the Anuradhapura prison faces tortured by prison officials.

Political prisoners detained at the Anuradhapura prison were brought up to Vavuniya high court yesterday. At the court prisoners informed about tortures faced by them inside the prison officers. Prison officers were anger over prisoners’ activities and refused to grant permission for prisoners to meet their relatives also used foul words against prisoners’ relatives.
