Leading member of previous regime to be arrested

Leading member of previous regime would be arrested over corruption charges by end of this week, high ranking Lankan security officer said.

Financial Crimes Investigation Division officials carried out continuous investigations against this suspect and also recorded statement from him. This suspect will face legal action prior to the parliament election.
