Channel -4 television recently received secrete document from United Nation and expressed concern over granting justice to all Lankans affected from the war crime allegations in the island. |
According to the channel-4 this document may disturb the debate schedule at the United Nation Human Rights Commission on month of September regarding the war crimes reported during final perhaps of war in SriLanka. The island faced 26 years of bloody civil war. UN further noted LTTE personals also carried out suicide bomb attacks against civilians. This document briefs that Lankan government seeks technical assistance from United Nation to carry out complete internal investigations on Lankan war crimes. Majority of Human Rights organizations strongly denies the internal mechanism on Lankan war crimes. Secrete report also noted Lankan government and Northern Provincial Council supports the UN to achieve success in this mission. However Northern Chief Minister C.V.Wigneswaran announced that UN never had discussions with him on this matter. Sirisena government promised to carry out internal investigations but Tamil activists stress upon to hold international investigations on Lankan war crimes. |
