EPDP act on violent manner and stage new drama

Tamil National Alliance strongly denies EPDP’s blame on Tamil National Alliance maintains close ties with election department where TNA MP Sumandhiran is permitted to hold telephone conversation while filing the nomination papers.

TNA MP Sumandhiran answered the phone calls made to election commission to express their objections over nominations. EPDP strongly condemned this activity and acted on violent manner. They also requested police to arrest a state officer. When we questioned the former parliamentarian Sumandhiran this regard he added,EPDP fear over their defeat and staged their new drama. We are ordered to send names of national list candidates towards election commissioner by 12.00 pm yesterday. We fax the national list towards the commission. However they were unable to receive fax ontime. Election department officials phoned to my personal number, but my phone was switched off so that they have gave call towards the election department and questioned about my presence and questioned about the phone number we have sent the fax message. EPDP members present at the site staged drama and went on to say that we have corrected the spelling mistakes of the party name in the nominations papers. TNA will contest under the ITAK symbol and will achieve massive victory in the peninsula former MP said.
