Military personals deployed at the north and eastern provinces commits highest sexual abuses

Highest numbers of military personals were deployed at the north and eastern parts of SriLanka. This will lead to increase numbers of sexual abuses against women representating the minority community.

Majority of women from these areas have lost their family members and facing lack of security. Addressing the UNHRC session human rights activities of the none government organization added, Hybrid court on SriLanka should investigate on crimes and violations committed against women and other religious discriminations reported in the island.
