Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka questions as to how Justice Minister Wijedasa Rajapakse can tame him when former President Mahinda Rajapakse also failed.

He stated that he is not prepared to pay 500 million rupees as compensation to the Justice Minister. Justice Minister Wijedasa Rajapakse stated yesterday that he would sue Democratic Party Leader, Field Martial Sarath Fonseka, demanding 500 million rupees in damages for making defamatory remarks against him. Addressing a media conference held at his office yesterday, Justice Minister Rajapakse said Field Martial Fonseka has made these statements against him while referring to the Avant Garde incident. At a media conference held yesterday, Field Martial Sarath Fonseka allegedly labeled the Justice Minister a fraudster and accused him of taking bribes from the Avant Garde Security Firm.
