Gotabaya Rajapaksa is god father of white van abduction : Mervin Silva

Former Minister Mervin Silva today announced former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa is the god father of white van abduction and also noted that he will never withdraw his statement.

Mervin Silva visited the CID office to testify on white van abductions reported in this island. Colombo Chief Magistrate has sent notice towards minister to appear before the court. This notice issued according to the court hearing on white van abduction reported at Mutuwal area in 2011. Colombo chief magistrate Gihan Balapitiya said if the minister owns any evident on this abduction he is permitted to submit them towards court. However CID informed the court that former minister did not provided full information on all white van abductions but he had handed over only the written information. Magistrate ordered the CID officials to submit all evident towards court and next hearing postponed till 26th of January. Speaking to media at the court premises Mervin Silva went on to say, Goatabaya Rajapaksa and Basil Rajapaksa played most important role on many thefts and abductions reported in this island.
