Previous regime threatened me : Kugan's spouse

Janatha, Spouse of human rights activist Kugan Muruganandhan announced that she faced threatening from previous regime.

Since four years of Kugan’s disappearance I’m unable to collect further information about my husband. When I attempted to collect details about my husband I was threatened such as” Your child as lost father and but they will lose their mother too”. Kugan and Lalith are leading human rights activists. Security personals attached to the previous regime directly warned Lalith and Kugan to stop their human rights activists. My husband faced security threatening from Lankan military personals. I believe these threatening are would be reason of this abduction. Since disappearance of my husband police officer visited my house several times and questioned about him but yet unable to collect further information about him. However since the appointment of new regime I never received threatening. Due to various threatening I never attended any case. I would like to request the new government to provide security to me to attend the hearing on my husband’s case.
