Van used to abduct people seized at Tricomalee camp

CID officials have seized van which is used to abduct people during the Rajapaksa regime while at Trincomalee Navy Camp.

This van used to abduct 6 international school students while returning from party . These students were schedule to visit London for their higher studies. Complaint on this abduction lodged at the Wattala police station however all these student murdered later on. CID officials took various measures to seize this vehicle. Naval personals used this vehicle for long term. CID officials are currently holding investigations on abduction and murder of 28 individuals including school students in year 2010. Group of naval personals abducted these 6 children to obtain ransom. Naval Commander vice admiral Jayatha Kolambage ordered to report to the CID office to record statement on this abduction.
