Attention drawn struggle demanding safer railway crossing has been staged by people’s organization for democracy at Killinochchi. Those who gathered in front of the Killinohchi railway station have staged this demonstration.
Following are the slogans read during this demonstration;
“Safer railway crossing is needed”
“Is it Yarldevi or Devi for dead?”
“Don’t kill our people”
“Government of good governance! Don’t kill our people through unsecured railway crossings”
Those who participated in this demonstration have handed over the memorandum to Killinochchi District Secretariat and Killinochchi Railway Station for making it available to the President. Many including former local council members of TNA participated in this demonstration.
