Ethnic majorities are settled at Punanai, Batticaloa in eastern province, TNA parliamentarian Sinithambi Yoheswaran stated.
Ethnic majoritarian people who had been living in Batticaloa are settled there, according to DM. Swaminathan , the minister of resettlement said.
But, Yoheswaran, who pointed out that only five families had been living in this area before, has stated that 29 families have been resettled so far. Accordingly, 24 families have been additionally settled so far.
