LTTE commanders Naren and Madhavan were not disappeared, were handed over to Lankan army

LTTE commanders Naren and Madhavan masters were not disappeared they were handed over to Lankan army and failed to receive further informations about them, relatives testified at the sittings of presidential commission on disappeared personals.
Commission holds their fourth day sitting at Point Pedro Divisional Secretariat office.

At the sitting So.Sivaganasundharam father of C.Janarthanan alias (Naren ),37 went on to say on 18.05.2009 my son entered in to the military control zone at Mullaitivu-Vattuwakal area. Under the leadership of Rev.Fr. Jospeh Francis commanders of LTTE movement surrendered to Lankan army.
Military personals urged LTTE members to surrender and promised to release them under the general amnesty. So we handed over our son towards army and they loaded all LTTE carders into bus, father said.
Inbarubini Sivasithambaram,45 spouse of LTTE police unit commander Madhawan also testified before the commission yesterday. She added for the past 20 years my husband served at the LTTE police unit. We handed over him towards Lankan army. He was not disappeared. My husband was also among the LTTE commanders who were handed over to army under the leadership of Rev.Fr.Joseph Francis. All of them were loaded into bus and taken away. Army promised to grant general amnesty to all LTTE members surrendered to them. We handed over our relatives we need them now, she said.
