A girl child, who returned to home from pre-school with his grandfather, has been kidnapped by unidentified persons in a motorbike at Ambalkulam in Killinochchi on Wednesday evening. There are uproars among the people due to this incident.
The name of this child is Lingeshwaran Kishani belonging to Ambalkulam has been kidnapped when she was returning to home with her grandfather.
Following the complaint made by the father and grandfather of this child at the Killinochchi police station immediately, police acted speedily and got the information that this child has been kidnapped and taken to Mullaitivu as per her mother’s plan.
Then the Killinochchi police contacted the mother who kidnapped her daughter and instructed her to provide information at Mullaitivu police station.
Father and mother of this child have been living separately for last 5 months due to the family dispute. Her mother is living at Kallapadu in Mullaitivu whereas her father is living at Ambalkulam in Killinochchi. This child is living with her father.
Further inquiries are being conducted by the Killinochchi police.
