Intelligence Unit records clear evident of Ekneligoda murder

Intelligence Unit members yesterday informed the court that they have recorded evident on suspects attempted to assassinate journalist Prageeth Ekneligoda.

Audio record found at Gritale camp clearly briefs that suspects have killed the leading Sinhala journalist Prageeth Ekneligoda. First murder attempt was planned on 27th of August 2009 while at the residence of second suspect of this case. While end of the abduction first suspect has been traveled to Batticaloa by the vehicle used to abduct Mr.Ekneligoda. This audio has been handed over to court. However this case postponed till 8th of March.
