Govt. tries to acquire benefits by creating conflicts among Tamil people – CM Wigneswaran

Northern Provincial Chief Minister C.V. Wigneswaran states that the Central government tries to get benefits through creating conflicts among the Tamil communities. Addressing at the 48th sitting of the Northern Provincial Council at Kaithady in Jaffna on Thursday (March 24) when the resolution brought to make amendments on the proposed housing scheme to set up for the displaced people in the North and East Chief Minister stated that the government tries to turn some people on its side by providing some houses to them and expects more benefits through the measures. The Central takes its sole decision without consultation with the Provincial Governments. The proposed houses are not primarily suitable for the people, adding, that if any changes to be made in the structure of the houses in the future, it would not be possible, he said. There will not be possible to make any attachment on the houses, said Mr. Wigneswaran.
