In Mullai, boats of fishermen from South who were engaged in catching sea cucumber were chased away

In the Mullaitivu sea waters, boats of fishermen from South who were engaged in catching sea cucumber were chased away by the fishermen of Mullaitivu.

Fishermen from South in 9 boats went to Mullaitivu sea waters were engaged in catching sea cucumber were chased away by the fishermen of Mullaitivu on Sunday night.
Six of these boats were already gone to the fishing jetties established by the fishermen from South at Maaththalan.
Even disregarding the order of the Minister of Fisheries and Marine resources, fishermen from South are encroaching into the Mullaitivu sea waters.
During the visit of the Minister of Fisheries and Marine resources to Mullaitivu, it was clearly pointed out that the Mullaitivu fishermen who were affected by both natural disasters and war face various issues.
In addition, it was demanded that fishermen of Mullaitivu should be permitted to get engaged in fishing in the waters in between Nandikadal lagoon and Vadduvakal as one side of it is being occupied by the Sri Lankan Navy while the other side is being occupied by the Sri Lankan Army.
While the fishermen of Mullaitivu is waiting for the solution after making the minister known about these issues, the fishermen from South are engaged in catching sea cucumber in Mullaitivu waters. The fishermen of Mullaitivu expressed their strong opposition against this.
Six boats of these fishermen from South in 9 boats have escaped from there after abandoning other three boats. Also, fishermen from South stay in Maththalan road by establishing the fishing jetties.  
With the collaboration of politicians, these fishermen from South are engaged in illegal activities such as catching sea cucumber. Owing to that, fishermen of Mullaitivu are sad about their sea resources being exploited by the fishermen from South.
