In Northern Province, Civil Administration is yet to be established even in the government of good governance, the Chief Minister of NPC stated. Military regime prevailed during the Mahinda’s ruling remains unchanged even in the government of good governance, he further added.
He said that he would meet the President and Prime Minister on 18th of this month in order to point out various issues including the attempts being made to seize the privately owned lands in the Northern Province.
Despite, the government keeps on saying that the military is deployed in North to strengthen the national security; they are actually positioned to assist the Sihala and Buddhisization of Northern Province, the Chief Minister of NPC highlighted.
