He made this observation addressing at the helping event of ‘Uthavippaalam’ for the development of northern people’s livelihood at Kaithady on Saturday (April 9).
He added that, we have been provided various helps for our people who affected by war with the programme of ‘Uthavippaalam’.
However the world expects and wants the massive programme. But the huge programmes have been carried out by federal government with the financial help of foreign companies.
Mostly the central government takes its sole decision on these programmes without our knowledge. They only discussed with some of our staff who are favoured with government.
It was very difficult to make measures when the scandals in the huge programmes like ‘Nelcip’. So any massive programmes for the northern government must be implemented by government after the consultation with us.
We strongly condemn the unilateral acts of government.
He mentioned that, the Central government did not discuss the details of its 65,000 housing project for the Northern and Eastern Provinces. The proposed houses are not primarily suitable for the people.
As we are the representatives of Tamils, the consultation with us is very essential on the projects for our people, he said.
