TNA to oppose the arrests of ex-LTTE in parliament

tna123-720x480The Tamil National Alliance has said the TNA parliamentarians would raise their voice together in parliament to oppose the recent arrests of the former LTTE members in the Northern and Eastern provinces. TNA parliamentarian and Deputy Chairman of Committees Selvam Adaikalanathan said that the TNA MPs would condemn on April 3 during the sitting of the parliament. Former LTTE members have continuously been arrested by the Terrorist Investigation Department following the discovery of the suicide vest and other ammunition from a house in Chavakachchery in the district of Jaffna on 29th of March. He further added that the relatives of the arrested persons have lodged complaints at the Human Rights Council in that regard. The Tamil people have lost liability on the Good Governance due to the recent incidents that have taken place in the areas of Tamil people live, he further added.
