Is Tamils’ life destroyed intentionally?

Right Reverend Justin Bernard Gnanapragasam, Roman Catholic Bishop of Jaffna questioned on Tamils’ life. He questioned that, is Tamils’ life destroyed intentionally by the increased crime, drugs, murder and robbery in the Northern Province particularly in Jaffna peninsula? He made this observation in the report released yesterday to express his concern on increasing violence in the North. He insist that, all should work together to eradicate such violence. We can observe that the crimes have been increased in the North especially in Jaffna peninsula. It creates the doubt that is Jaffna people’s life destroyed intentionally by the incidents like murder, theft, use of drug, robbery and cultural degradation? He added. This social misery should be stop immediately. We need to act quickly on the matter. Therefore, intellectuals, lecturers, journalists, lawyers, activists and professional experts all together should come forward to take these incidents to the relevant parties and obtain an appropriate solution, he stated.
