The death toll due to the inclement weather resulted floods and landslides has increased to 71, the Disaster Management Centre (DMC) stated. Approximately 427918 people are affected by Floods and Landslides as of the situation report issued by Emergency Operation Centre (EOC) of DMC on 20 th May 2016 at 12.00 hrs. Further, out of which about 319507 people are located at 602 safe locations. About 440 houses are reported to be fully damaged and 3463 houses partially damage by floods and landslides. Disaster Management Centre is coordinating response activities and rescue operations with three-forces, and Police through District Secretariats and District Disaster Management Coordinating Units.
