One of the mothers witnessed that there are secret underground prisons in the Anuradhapura prison where hundreds of Tamil youths were being detained.
She stated like this when she was commenting before the presidential task force on reconciliation.
Following are further stated by her;
My son was abducted by the military soldiers in Jaffna in the year 1996. I was told by someone that my son was being detained at the Anuradhapura prison. Subsequently, I went to Anuradhapura prison.
At the premises of the Anuradhapura prison, I saw an underground pit where many Tamil youths were being detained. The youths who are being detained like this should be released. The details about the secret concentration camps should be brought to bright light.
