A federal arrangement that recognises Tamils as a distinct nation would solve the ethnic problem in a united Sri Lanka, said the leader of the Tamil National People’s Front leader Gajendrakumar Ponnambalam yesterday (31st July). And he also mentioned that the government have to take responsible for Tamil people issues. He said Tamil political leaders must recognize the issues of Tamil people and they have to take responsible to get proper solution from the government. He added that the Tamil political leaders are not interest to take responsibility for Tamil people. So the people have to pressure the government on this accountability mechanism and they should make the government to take responsibility.
