The Sri Lankan Government is preparing to respond to the controversial war crime allegations and Human Rights Violations that took place during Mahinda Rajapaksha regime, by collecting evidence it is learnt.
In spite of the pressure being applied to Sri Lanka by international organizations, the government is in the process of gathering evidence to prove them false.
Evidence are being collected from the book ‘Road to Nandikadal’, the true story of defeating Tamil Tigers which was released by Major General Kamal Gunaratne and also from Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka’s book which he will release soon.
It is said, that former SL president’s regime failed to respond to the questions raised by the International bodies, including the UN on the war, and the prevailing good governance is on the verge of getting into the process to respond to the questions.
