The United Nations Human Rights Council scheduled to discuss the matter of disappearance occurred in Sri Lanka during and after the ethnic conflict today (Sep 15) as the Council gathers. The 33rd session of the Human Rights Council has been taking place in Geneva, Switzerland. It is learnt that the UN committee on human rights which visited Sri Lanka to assess the matter of voluntarily disappeared, will submit a report in the session today. Meanwhile, the Sri Lankan delegation is said to be ready to reply for the report over Sri Lankan issues.
