Leader of the Opposition R.Sambanthan visited to Kilinochchi today and the wife of a former LTTE combatant complained about her husband being held in the prison again.
“My husband Sabeswaran (age 31) went India to attend a wedding. He was refused entry and arrested by anti – terrorism police officers at the Airport on 23rd of October”, said the former LTTE combatant’s wife when approached by Team Athavan.
She pointed out that her husband is in Walikada prison and he is not aware of why he was arrested. Sabeswaran was released on bail in 2010 after he surrendered himself to Sri Lankan Army it is learnt.
