In the north and eastern regions the war against Tamil people are still ontinuing by military and establishing Buddha statues by Buddhist communities said the Tamil National Alliance parliamentarian S.Sritharan in Parliament yesterday (Wednesday). Citing some of the recent incidents which held in the country and he further said, In the current Constitution, the priority is given to Buddhism. If the same priority given in the new constitution the country will face big Calamity. To avoid this, constitution must change by the Government. Otherwise the establishments of Buddha statues in Tamil areas and threat to the Tamil people cannot be avoid. So the government must consider about this matter very seriously he said.
