The Sri Lanka government co-sponsored UN resolution which was adopted in 2015 has been neglected intentionally by the Sri Lanka government, alleged the Chief Minister of the Northern Province C.V. Wigneswaran.
Addressing at the occasion to mark the one year completion of the Tamil People’s Council which was held on Monday (Dec 19) at the Jaffna General Public library said the government was to be pushed in order to get a move on this.
He added that it is an obligation to seek reason for the delay on implementation of the resolution legally and to make the government realize its obligation in this regard.
