The CID told court that the 11 youth including 5 students who had been kidnapped by white van in Colombo and its suburbs in 2009 were killed. The CID told Fort Magistrate Lanka Jayaratna when the case was taken up for hearing on Monday (March 13). The secret was revealed when the CID grilled Commander Sumith Ranasinghe who is in custody in connection to the case and Navy Commander Wegadera, one of the prime witnesses on that case.
