A 200 page report consisting of testimony that the Sri Lanka military forces did not commit war crimes would be handed over to the former defense secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa in Colombo on Monday (March 13). Higher rank military officials too will be handed over the report. The report would also be handed over to the President by the army commanders before submitting the United Nations. It is said that the report to be submitted the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva on 16th of March by Rear Admiral Sarath Weerasekara and explained. It is the first report to be issued by the Sri Lanka government stating that the Sri Lanka military forces did not commit war crimes during the final war against the LTTE.
