The Jaffna University Society has commemorated the Maveerar Day (Remembering of the war heroes), peacefully early today.
They have conducted the homage at the special stage where they were arranged.
More than 2000 persons including Students, professors and non-teaching staff were participated on the event and paid their respect by raising lighted candles.
