The order issued by the President Maithripala Sirisena to make records on missing persons, was rejected by the Relatives of missing persons in Vavuniya.
Relatives of missing persons today (Wednesday) met Somarathna Vithana the Government Agent of Vavuniya District and handed over the rejection letter.
In the past, the Presidential Commission made complete records in the Vavuniya District Secretariat regarding missing persons. So, this order is a attempt to drag this issue. And current President also doing the same as former president, Relatives accused.
