MURDER CASE FOR JAFFNA STUDENTS

Murder case for Jaffna students; Police officers reconnected in connection with the incident related to the incident in Jaffna university students killed in gunfire The five police officers, suspect of the case, have been recruited.

The Jaffna High Court yesterday (27) granted the application for simplification of one of their binding conditions after 5 police were reintroduced in the service.

In this case, the five police officers were released on bail by the Jaffna High Court on September 14 last year. 
"5 suspects are allowed to go to the bail of 2 thousand rupees worth 50 thousand rupees cash and 2 lakh rupees. All of them should sign the Colombo Criminal Investigation Department on Sunday. The passport of the suspects must be handed over to the Registrar of the Jaffna District. The Immigration Emigration Department has been ordered to prevent 5 persons from leaving their country abroad, "said Jaffna High Court Judge Manikavasagar Ilancheliyan.
With the release of 5 police officers, the Police Department has been recruited to reinstate them in the South. 
The complaint was filed to the Colombo Criminal Investigation Department from various parts of the South and it was difficult to sign on every Sunday and it was relaxed on the condition that the petition was filed on behalf of the suspects.
The inquiry was heard yesterday at the Jaffna High Court yesterday. The Supreme Court Judge M.Lanjeliani issued a decree that the suspects were allowed to sign the Colombo Criminal Investigation Department at the last Sunday of the month.
Jaffna University students Vijayakumar Sulakshan and Nadarajah Khajan were killed at midnight on 20th October 2016 in Kokkuvil Kulpetti. The Jaffna police were murdered.
