The function of the Buddhist monks has made a little bit of trouble when the national anthem was played during the event of 313 graduates from Eastern Province. Presentation of 313 Graduates of Eastern Province by President Maithripala Sirisena will be held at Batticaloa Weber Stadium today. When the national anthem was played, the Buddhist cleric Bala Vallaripathy Ampitiya Sumanathaarre, who attended the Hindu, Muslim and Christian religious leaders, stood in the seat without respect. The national anthem is one of the symbols of a country. It is the obligation of every citizen to respect this.
