Major financial scam at Foreign Employment Bureau

Minister Dalada Athukorala appoints 8 members committee to conduct further investigations on major financial scandal reported at the SriLanka Foreign Employment Bureau, during the Mahinda Regime.

This committee includes 6 lawyers, 1 accountant and one IT officer. This committee will investigate on Rs.150 million spent by the bureau in the past several years, on new appointments and expenditure for various campaigns. Group will hand over their report within 10 days of time period. Present government always aims to avoid unnecessary expenditures and establish good governance in this nation. Under the 100 days work programme Minister Athukorala promised to grant relief to individuals seeks job opportunities through Foreign Employment Bureau.
