Atrocities committed by the army on a single day upon eight families

In the year 2006, A Small Village called Thenmaradchi Mandhuvil in Jaffna; the Tamil Village People were living peacefully.

But, unfortunately, at that point of time, under the command of the former president Mahinda Rajapaksa, Sri Lankan Army was permanently Stationed over there. The Army forcefully took these innocent Tamil Villagers in order to take their vengeance upon the ethnic issues of the Sinhalese Majority. On a Single day, on a single night, the Sri Lankan Army took the innocent villagers from Jaffna. Eight Families, belongs to the same village were kidnapped by the Sri Lankan Sinhalese Army. Eight Families had Shed their tears and searching for their relatives for the last nine years, but they could not find them at all. On 6th of May 2006, in the middle of the night, these eight families who belong to this village were sleeping outside the Manthuvil Velaththamman Temple and they were captured by the Srilankan Army, tying their hands and took them on the military vehicle, kidnapped them to an unknown destination by the Sinhalese Army. So far there is no information about the whereabouts of these eight families. Responsibilities of Crimes for the kidnapping and missing of these eight families lies with the Mahinda Rajapaksa’s Army and the Military in charge, who was looking after the Jaffna peninsula. The List of Missing People belongs to this Eight Families are as follows:- Kodikamam Varani Eyarralai Ramachandran Chellamma. Ponnambalam Rasamma, belong to the Manthuvil North Kodikamam. Vaikunthavasa Sasitha, belong to the Manthuvil North Kodikamam. Kandaswamy Yoga Nayagi, belong to the Manthuvil North Kodikamam. Markandu Saraswathi, belong to the Manthuvil North Kodikamam. Rasanayakam Pillai, Sivakami Pillai, belongs to the Manthuvil West Kodikamam. Selvaratnam Mallikadevi belongs to Manthuvil West Kodikamam. Gunaratnam Siva Bhagyam, belong to the Manthuvil East Kodikamam Family and their family Members are, Ponnambalam Parthiban, Ponnambalam Kandeeban, Vaikunthavasan, Vaikuntha Kumar, Kandaswamy Parimelazhagar Markandu, Pushpakanthan Selvaratnam, Sivanandam Selvaratnam, Shirishkumar Gunaratnam, Dayarubhan and other missing people and their relatives.
