Legal action will be severely taken against those who violate election laws.



Despite Chief Inspector of Jaffna Police F.U.K. Woodler warned those who violate election laws would be severely punished, election posters are being posted on government buses.
In a press meeting held at Jaffna Police Station, OIC stated that legal action would be taken against those who paste the election posters on the government properties and the buses belonging to Sri Lankan Transport Board.  




Meanwhile, it could be observed that the election posters of Vijayakala Maheshwaran, Deputy Minister for Women's Affairs, pasted on a Sri Lanka Transport Board bus servicing Jaffna to Vavuniya.
