Investigations on arrears payments to be settled down to SL AirForce

Presidential Commission appointed to investigate on major financial allegations currently carries out investigations on balance payments to be settled to the AirForce by the previous regime.

Investigations currently underway against former Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa, ministers Dayasiri Jayasekara, Susil Premajayantha,Wimal Weerawansa, parliamentarians Namal Rajapaksa and son of former president Yoshitha Rajapaksa. These individuals have make use of helicopters belongs to SriLanka AirForce. During the time of Rajapaksa regime , since the period of year 2010-2015highest numbers of helicopters used for transportation activities. Defence Secretary has ordered the Air Force commander to submit report this regard. Investigations would be carried out according to the complaint lodged by the general public.
