SL government denies minister vijeyakala maheshwaran's request

Lankan government denies the request made by the minister Vijeyakala Maheshwaran, Sinhala news paper reports.

Minister Vijeyakala Maheshwaran requested to release the Mayillati fisheries harbor located close to the Palali harbor in the high security zone to carry out fishing activities. However Lankan government denied this request. Military officials attached to Northern Province informed the Prime Minister if the fishermen are permitted to engage fishing activities it would creates security threatening to Palali Air Port and refused to open the harbor.
