Cardina says no to "Sinhale" movement

His. Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Rajith strongly opposes the activities of Sinhale movement.

Cardinal expressed this view during the recent meeting with state minister A.H.M.Fowzi. His Eminence noted in the period of reconciliation progress group of individuals attached to Sinhale movement currently attempting create separation in this island. Once again these individuals are attempting to create another riots similar to 1950. Tamil people strongly opposed on using Sinhale letter of "Sri" in the vehicle number plates. Cardinal called upon the government to introduce new language policy by making compulsory of Tamil , Sinhala and English languages in this island. In this progress students are permitted to continue their studies on one language but they should be through in other two languages. TThis would allow us to create national unity in this island.
