The relatives of the involuntarily disappeared persons had gathered in front of the Chief Minister’s secretariat to draw the attention of the UNHRC High Commissioner Prince Zeid Al Hussein who is on a visit to Jaffna today.
Having seen them crying with the photographs of the disappeared persons, the commissioner promised to meet them after the talks with the Northern chief.
The relatives of the involuntarily disappeared persons had already made a request to meet the Commissioner.
