My son who attempted to open the TNA office in islets was disappeared. As he supported to TNA, my daughter was denied job opportunities due to the political interferences, a mother testified.
Second day of the session of Presidential Commission into disappearances held at Velanai Divisional Secretariat.
While testifying in this session, this mother stated like this. Following are further revealed by him;
My son Sathasivam Logeshwaran (he was 36 years old when he went missing) was a supporter of the Tamil National Alliance. He had been engaged in opening the TNA office in islets.
Consequently, the EPDP member Comrade Ram intimidated my son not to support the TNA. Without taking this intimidation into mind, my son worked for TNA continuously.
Comrade Ram came home one day and intimidated me to keep my son aloof from TNA. Despite, I told my son in this regard, he did not take these intimidations into account. He worked intensively for opening the TNA office.
Meanwhile, the one who came home in the midnight on 21st of November, 2012, called my son to talk. While I was also trying to go with him, he told me that they would send my son back to home after speaking to him at the gate. My son also asked me to go inside the home stating that I would come after talking to that person.
